Family
Carrie and I are from Omaha, Nebraska and have three young children. Our parents live in Omaha, NE and Albuquerque, NM.  Our brothers and sisters are scattered throughout Nebraska & Colorado.

Story
I met the Love of my life when I was 14 (she was 15) and after many years of persistence she agreed that we were made for each other.  We were married in 2003 while pursuing our professional degrees, mine in civil engineering and hers in nursing. Throughout this time Carrie had a strong burden to use her skills as a nurse to help people who were in need of physical and spiritual healing.  Soon I also began to feel this same burden, but had no known outlet for serving with my developing civil engineering skills. Through a Google search I learned about eMi and was immediately captivated by the thought of blessing others with the gift of my education.  We found that India provided the perfect opportunity for both of us to use our skills to serve. We served as a couple in the eMi India office in 2004 & 2005 and were amazed by the opportunities we were given.  We returned to the USA with the intention of a quick turnaround as staff members in the India office.  Five years and three children later we are back in India to serve the Lord with all that we are as a family.

Verses to Live By
Matthew 22: 37-39
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord you God will all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: "‘Love your neighbor as yourself."
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Professional Training and Experience
B.S. C.E. with Water Resources emphasis, University of Nebraska, Omaha USA (2003). Prior to my eMi² internship, I worked for two years in a civil engineering consulting firm in west Omaha, which was focused on commercial and residential development projects. After my eMi² internship, I continued on with the same civil consulting firm and attended classes in the evenings to complete my masters in business administration (MBA-2009).  Additionally, I took and passed the professional civil engineering licensure exam and continue to maintain my civil engineering license in the state of Nebraska.   I see each of these experiences and skills as a blessing to me and am looking forward to using each of them in a unique way to be a blessing to the people of South Asia.
