Family
Dannah and I are both from Colorado, and excited about living and serving internationally together. My parents and two brothers and their families live in Colorado also.

Story
Although I was raised in a Christ-following home and accepted the Lord as my Savior at a young age, God used a short-term ministry trip as a means to deepen my faith and develop a heart for serving people internationally. During my studies and later profession as an architect, I longed for something deeper to make a difference for change and good in the lives of people through designs I helped to create. Today, I enjoy serving with EMI design teams on projects that have lasting impact in the lives of people in the developing world as well as on us. But it goes much deeper than our design service, into how we live in and give to the community of the Body of Christ locally where we reside, through teaching, mentoring relationships and serving. Now, Dannah and I consider it a privilege to serve with our life together, for God's glory, wherever He takes us.

Professional Training and Experience
B. ENV.D. with an Architecture emphasis, University of Colorado at Boulder, (2000). Prior to EMI, I worked as an Intern Architect in Connecticut, then for three years in Denver on a monumental pedestrian bridge, private residences, corporate offices and private universities before transferring to a firm where I designed commercial development projects. Since joining EMI, I have had experience in the design of hospitals, schools, dormitories, chapels, and housing as well as site planning and multi-year master plans. Additionally, I have consulted on projects under construction during my service in South Asia.

Verses to Live By
Romans 12: 1-3: I appeal to you brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual act of worship. Do not be conformed any longer to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Psalm 46:10: Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
